TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICES

Definitions:
Client: The recipient of the service and name listed on the booking form
Supplier: Ieva Genovesi Hair and Makeup Artist
Agreement: The contract that exists between the client and Ieva Genovesi Hair and Makeup Artist for the agreed fee
Fee: The amount payable by the client to the supplier for the agreed services
Event: The occasion and venue where the service(s) will be provided by the supplier
The Party: Additional members of the bridal party
Team: Ieva Genovesi and the team of qualified and fully insured Hair and Makeup artists
Studio: Cambridge based home studio with available parking (more information by email)
1. Securing your booking & Payment

The date of the event is only reserved once the client has paid a non-refundable deposit to the supplier and received a booking confirmation .

Payments can be made by cash or via bank transfer.

An initial non-refundable deposit of £100 is to be paid by the client to the supplier so that the date of the event may be reserved. Upon final agreement and payment, the deposit will then be taken out of the final payment

If following the trial, the client decides not to proceed with the supplier, the supplier shall be given notice within 24 hours, in which case the deposit will be fully refunded.

The final fee is to be paid in full by the client not later than 4 weeks before the event unless otherwise agreed with the supplier

Failure to pay the fee within the stated time may result in the event being cancelled by the supplier.

Events in May-September on Friday, Saturday or Sunday are subject to a £700 on the day minimum spend, excluding trial, travel costs and parking fees.

Events in October-April on Friday, Saturday or Sunday are subject to a £550 on the day minimum spend, excluding trial, travel costs or parking fees.

If a rental of hair extensions has been agreed upon a deposit of £50 will be payable after trial has been completed

For larger bookings assistants can be arrange for a minimum of 3 hair or makeups. Assistant booking fee is £60 per assistant.

An invoice for the balance of the Fee and schedule for the wedding day will be sent from the supplier to the Client after the trial unless the Event is in less than 2 weeks’ time in which case it will be sent immediately after the booking has been secured.
2. Discounted rates
-
10% discount will be offered for weddings that takes place on the months of November, January and February on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays excluding trial or travel costs.

15% discount applies for mid week weddings on the months of November, January and February excluding trials and travel costs.

3. Bridal trials
-
Trials take place in my home based Studio in Cambridge Tuesdays to Thursdays only.

Payment for any trial shall be made in advance by bank transfer or alternatively by cash on the day of the trial. The payment is non refundable after the service has been provided.

If following the trial, the client decides not to proceed with the supplier, the supplier shall be given notice within 24 hours, in which case the deposit will be fully refunded.

The client can cancel or reschedule a trial at any point, however a trial cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged for at the agreed rate.

4. Responsibility of the Client

The client shall inform the supplier of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions.

If the client or party requires a patch test for any products, this can be arranged before the event.

The supplier cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that is incurred due to the client’s failure to inform the artist of any known condition.

The supplier reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members of the party for, but not limited to, abusive and threatening behavior and/or if the Client reports a condition that the Company and/or Team member deem as a risk to the Client’s health and well-being. In these case any payments that have already been made by the Client for the service are non-refundable
5. Responsibility of the Supplier

The Supplier will always endeavor to honor the Agreement to the best of its ability.

There may be circumstances beyond the control of the supplier where a Team member is unwell, delayed or otherwise unavailable, sometimes at short notice. In such a case the Company will inform the Client at its earliest convenience and endeavour to make favourable alternative arrangements if possible.

The supplier will provide additional artist according to the needs of the event and number of services provided. Payment for the additional artists will be included in the initial price quote agreed upon. Additional charges may be added to travel and parking expenses

6. Cancellations
Covid-19 Update: Our Cancellation Policy during these uncertain times remains unchanged. We will not be able to refund beyond what is outlined below.

Cancellations are only valid if received via email ievagenovesi@gmail.com

Notice of cancellation of any part or whole of a booking must be given to the supplier by email to ievagenovesi@gmail.com at least 4weeks prior to the date of the booking. If less than 4weeks notice is given, any outstanding balance payable in relation to that wedding booking shall be required to be made in full.

In the unfortunate event of cancelation of your booking where more than 4 weeks’ notice has been given, the following charges will apply (percentages are the proportion of the total booking cost):

8 weeks before the wedding 30%

6 weeks before the wedding 50%
-
4 weeks before the wedding 100%

Cancellations made 3 months or more prior of the reserved date will not incur cancellation fee.

Payments made to the Supplier for a service that is subsequently cancelled by the Supplier will be refunded in full within 7 days of the cancellation. No further compensation will be offered

Cancellations by the Supplier due to circumstances including, but not limited to, problems rendering the performance of their obligations and where no other suitable alternative can be given will result in a refund to the Client. No further compensation will be offered.

Cancellations for services booked where travel and/or accommodation expenses have been paid for by the Supplier and are non-refundable by the travel/accommodation provider(s) will incur full reimbursement from the Client to the Supplier for the full travel and/or accommodation costs paid.

If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of the supplier every possible endeavour to rectify such situations will be made, however no compensation will be offered on the Supplier's part. The client is strongly advised to take out wedding insurance to cover against such situations.
7. Exclusivity
-
Exclusivity is not guaranteed for the whole day of the event; therefore, timing will be agreed between client and supplier

It is unlikely that there will be another event on the day; and any second event undertaken by the supplier will not affect the first event
-
An exclusivity fee can be arranged if previously agreed between client and supplier. This including any specific request from the client for second look or touch ups

8. Travel & Parking
-
When traveling is required £0.65 per mile charge will incur per artist. Once the location is confirmed the client will be informed if any travel charges will apply.

Congestion and parking charges shall be covered by the client.
-
Parking facilities for the supplier and its team must be arranged by the client close to the location event. Please inform the supplier in advance if there is limited parking available at the event location. Due to the amount of heavy equipment required, should Supplier not been made aware, they cannot be held responsible for delays this might cause.

Should the location of the event be more than 50 miles from the studio, and an early start is needed, the night before accommodation paid by the client will be required for the supplier and their team.

For destination weddings airport transfers both in the UK and abroad, flights and accommodation with meals should all be provided.

9. Change of Location
-
Alternative accommodation booking is recommended to start the preparations if your venue has a later morning time for you to enter the bridal suite.

During the wedding morning if we are required to pack up, drive to another location and set up again there is an additional £30 charge per artist to cover additional time and travel

10.Photography and Video
-
The Client agrees that the supplier may use any photography and/or video for publicity purposes which includes the artist's website and social media pages, unless otherwise agreed or requested by the client. Any concerns or objections regarding photography should be made in writing to ievagenovesi@gmail.com

The supplier will not post photography before the start of the event to avoid spoiling any surprises.
11. Changes to Services and Prices
1. Prices for products and services are subject to change without notice. The supplier reserves the right to modify or discontinue a service at any time without notice

12. Changes to Terms and Conditions
1. The supplier may from time to time change these Terms and Conditions without giving the client notice, but the supplier will use reasonable endeavours to inform the client as soon as is reasonably possible of any such change
